THEMATIC WORKSHOPS

Would you like to understand Poland and Poles? Learn the language through the culture. Thematic workshops provide interesting meetings with the culture, tradition and history of our country. During meetings you will find many interesting simulations, games or film projections, to fill your time with active learning.

CONSULTATION WITH TEACHER

Misses some of your classes? Would you like to go back to the topics that were introduced? Perhaps you consider conjugation, declination or other areas of the language difficult and want to repeat them? Come to consult such issues with the teacher. Consultation with the lector is held twice a month and lasts for 1.5 hours. During this time, under the teacher supervision, you can slowly go through any topics introduced during the lessons, have your issues clarified and thoroughly explained.

LANGUAGE TANDEMS

You have not so many opportunities to talk to Poles, but would like to exercise your language in less formal terms? We have prepared language tandems, during which we will discuss various topics related to customs, everyday life, social organization, science or culture. The excitement of the conversation will be a well-selected article, a photo or a fragment of a movie. Language tandem is 1.5 hours of talk in two languages – in Polish and the native language of the student.

STUDENT’S LIBRARY

Do you read in Polish? If not, you have to start. It will help you to make quick progress in learning the language. You will see how reading gradually helps you think in Polish, which is already a big step to achieve language proficiency. Our library is well equipped by Polish and foreign authors books on each language level. After a good book, reserve your evening for a movie. The classics of Polish cinema have their place in our library as well.
